In 2023, during my first year at university, I embarked on a game project called Adventure. The game was about a player who could fight forest creatures and enter buildings. Unfortunately, the project didn’t turn out as successful as I had hoped, and I was unable to include many of the features I had planned. As a result, the game ended up with only simple movement, a basic combat system, and the ability to move between a house and the outdoors.
On the positive side, this project was a significant learning experience. It helped me understand how to code properly and optimise my code for better performance. I also learned how to animate transitions between states, such as attacking and moving in various directions.
Gameplay:
The Adventure game is an RPG-themed experience where players can fight creatures and scavenge the unknown. The game also allows players to visit numerous locations and loot anything they find along the way.
